Phillip Glenn Harris

After a lengthy illness, Mr. Phillip Glenn Harris passed away Thursday evening at his home. He was preceded in death by his father Lawrence Harris and his brother David Harris. Phillip is survived by his mother Sally Hogue Harris. Brothers Tim Harris (Shelia), Chris Harris and Gary Harris all of York. Sisters Patricia Durham (Ryan) of Newport, NC, Alison Ratterree and Susan Jones (Wayne) of York. As well as many nieces and nephews. Philip "Coach" Harris worked in customer service in the communication industry and most recently with MRA at Presbyterian Hospital. Coach Harris was a 1985 graduate of Winthrop University where he was a Founder and Charter Member of Tau Kappa Epsilon Fraternity. He also was a Founder and Director of York County Basketball and Upper Palmetto Prep Scouting where he directed, coached and sponsored basketball programs in York County and both North & South Carolina for the past 34 years. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, March 12, 2017 at 3pm at Tirzah ARP, 6161 Mt. Gallant Road, York SC. Visitation will follow the service.
