Rachel Lassiter Vinesett

Rock Hill - Mrs. Rachel Lassiter Vinesett, 79, died Sunday, April 23, 2017, at Piedmont Medical Center.

Funeral services will be 12:00 Noon Wednesday, April 26, 2017, at Whitesell Funeral Home with Rev. Ken Hester and Richard Hamm officiating. The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Rock Hill Memorial Gardens.

Born in Charlotte, NC Mrs. Vinesett was a daughter of the late Frank and Anges Saunders Lassiter.

Mom loved her life at Morningside Assisted Living. She was affectionately known as the greeter to welcome new residents. She loved playing bingo and working jigsaw puzzles. She could be found doing lots of activities.

A special thanks to the staff at Morningside for taking such good care of her. She loved all of you. Also thank you to the staff at White Oak Rehab for also taking good care of her. Thanks to a nurse named Nancy for being so awesome taking care of her.


Surviving are a son, Larry T Vinesett Jr. (Bonnie); and a daughter, Rhonda Vinesett Head. She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry T Vinesett Sr.; two sisters, Evelyn Haigler and Eva Helms; and a son-in-law, Jonathan Head.

Memorial donations may be made to the charity of ones choice.
