Rayletta Eileen Snook Boone, age 86 of Fort Mill SC passed away Saturday February 13, 2021.
She was born May 29, 1934 in Three Rivers Michigan to the late Raymond Birk Snook and Lettie Marie Canavan Snook.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Orville Bedford Boone Jr.,
two sons; Kerry and Marty Boone, two sisters; Manveta Calhoun and Joyce Hoeksema, two brothers; Emanuel and James Snook
Mrs. Boone raised her family in Vicksburg, Michigan where she played the piano for the Vicksburg Assembly of God Church. After moving to Fort Mill, SC in the early eighties shw was a floral designer and worked at PTL laundromant. She loved her savior Jesus and lived it out in life, at the tender ages of 5 and 7 she led three sons to Jesus. While living in Fort Mill she drove her sons to nursing homes to play music and sing praises to Jesus.. Mrs. Boone was incredibly involved in with the National Alliance for Mentally Ill (NAMI) and loved her extended family.
Survivors include her son Brian Dean Boone and his wife Esther, one sister: Jeanne Watson and one brother; John Snook. Rayletta is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be welcomed at her visitation prior to the service on Friday from 1:00pm until 2:00pm.
Funeral services will be held 2:00pm Friday February 19, 2021 at Bass-Cauthen Funeral Homes Chapel.
Interment will follow at Rock Hill Memorial Gardens.
