Raymond Leslie Atkinson

YORK- Raymond L. "Sonny" Atkinson Jr., 61, of 1052 Perla Road, died Thursday, December 10, 2009
at Piedmont Medical Center.

Memorial services will be 2:00 P.M. Sunday, December 13, at Eastview Baptist Church, with Rev.
Rick Martin officiating.

A native of Moncks Corner, S.C., Sonny is the son of the late Raymond L. and Lucille Langley
Atkinson. He was a retired heavy equipment operator and a member of Eastview Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Margaret F. Atkinson; three sons, Tom Atkinson (Candice), Leslie Atkinson (Amanda), and Shane Atkinson; one sister, Edna Ray Mc Makin; a special friend, Mary Lynn Kerley; and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Atkinson.
