Raymond Dyches

Raymond Alfred "Ray Ray" Dyches 58 of Rock Hill SC passed away Sunday Feb 1 at his home. He was a graduate of Rock Hill High and spent most of his life as a maintenance mechanic at Rexham/NS Cartons in Charlotte NC. The company laid off in 02 and in 03 he accepted a position at PPM of Bowater where he was currently employed. He was preceded in death by his father Furman Alfred Dyches and brother Gregory Lynn Dyches. He is survived by 2 sons Jay Dyches(Nicole) and Brad Dyches(Kinsley) his mother Barbara Mercer three brothers Phillip Dyches,Bobby Mercer and Ricky Mercer. Two sisters Lori Haskett and Deanna Mercer. 8 Grandchildren and 12 nieces and nephews. As well as a great uncle to multiple nieces and nephews. Services will be held at Bass- Cauthen Funeral Home Chapel Friday, Feb 6, 2015 at 3 o'clock with Rev. Evan English officiating. Visitation following the services. Family will receive friends other times at the home of his mother on 4948 Pinecone Dr. Catawba SC
