Raymond Cline Hutchinson, Jr.

June 29, 1926 — July 14, 2012

Raymond Cline Hutchinson, Jr., passed away Saturday, June 14, 2012 at his home. A native of Rock Hill, Mr. Hutchinson was born June 29, 1926 son of the late Raymond Cline Hutchinson, Sr. and the late Jennie Clementine Strait Hutchinson. He was a retired manager for the American Legion, a W.W. II Navy veteran and member of Ebenezer Presbyterian Church. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother Roy Hutchinson, his sister Rose Dickert and his wife Eva Ann Mickle Hutchinson. Surviving are his son Lawrence Raymond "Larry" Hutchinson and his wife Mary of Rock Hill; his daughter Rebecca "Becky" McCormack and her husband Jeff of Chapin, SC; two grandchildren Logan Hutchinson and Claire McCormack Reynolds and her husband Dustin. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00pm Tuesday at Bass-Cauthen Funeral Home and other times at the home of his son Larry at 2827 Long Shadow Lane in Rock Hill. A service to celebrate the life of Mr. Hutchinson will be held Wednesday at 11:00am in the chapel of Bass-Cauthen Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Ebenezer Presbyterian Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The American Cancer Society, PO Box 22718 Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, 73123-1718 or The American Legion, P.O. Box 1055 Indianapolis, IN 46206.
