Raymond Carter Pinchak

Raymond Carter Pinchak, "the Mayor", beloved son of Meredith and Deane Pinchak was called from his earthly life on Thursday, September 29, 2016 in Fort Mill, South Carolina. Besides his parents, Ray leaves behind to mourn his loss, sisters Amber Hedrick and Ashley Guy along with paternal grandparents, Tom and Jodi Pinchak of Charlotte, NC and Carter Richards of Roanoke, Virginia, maternal grandparents, Greg and Denise Kirkman of Raleigh, NC and Shirley Jones of Fancy Gap, Virginia and numerous uncles and aunts.
Born April 6, 2009, Ray was discovered to have Hunter Syndrome. He fought a strong and courageous battle through his treatments while bringing smiles and joy to all the lives he touched especially his friends and his teacher Jill Douds at Gold Hill Elementary and special caregiver, Jeanie Hinson.
Visitation will be held Saturday, October 8, 2016 beginning at 11:00 a.m. with a service following at 1:00 p.m. at Palmetto Funeral Home with friends from Forrest Hill Church officiating.

Ray's family wishes to thank everyone that helped make Ray's life, better, easier, happier and as normal as possible especially the team of the many doctors, medical personnel, supporting friends, family and neighbors. We have been very blessed to have you in our lives.
