Raymond Ruocco

Raymond was called home to be with his Lord & Savior, Jesus Christ, on Thursday, June 30th, 2016 surrounded by his wife, Mary Ann, his daughter Christine Vreeland & his grandson Michael & his Pastor Barry Yates. Raymond was born on January 26th, 1943 to Leopoldo & Rose Ruocco in Brooklyn, NY.

Raymond is survived by his wife, Mary Ann of almost twenty years. His daughter, Christine, his son-in-law, Mike & their three grandchildren, Deborah, Michael & Johnathan. Also, his son Ken, his wife Maritza & her girls Melany & Danna. Raymond was one of nine children, Phil, Helen, Benji, Jeanette, Ralphie, Richie, Joyce & Joann. Phil, Jeanette & Benji pre-deceased Raymond.

About one year ago we joined the Carolinas Cornerstone Church family. Raymond was a very controlled & quiet individual but our Pastor Barry had an effect on him. He actually listened & clearly understood the sermons. I know they touched his heart deeply because he ask questions & ponder over Pastor Barry's words. Most of all he just loved the Pastor's comments & anecdotes about family especially spouses. Raymond would nod his head & smile at Pastor Barry. Raymond was touched by the out pouring of love. As soon Pastor Barry was informed that Raymond was hospitalized he was on route to the hospital.
I have confidence in knowing that Raymond is now with his Lord. Out of body with Christ. I see him greeting everyone with joy in his heart & a great big smile on his face. He is now the social bumble bee stirring everyone up & just enjoying his new found health & freedom in Christ Jesus.

Our hearts are aching with sadness, the shear thought of our lives changing & not having Raymond as part of our earthly family consumes us with sorrow. But, we are joyful in knowing that one day there will be a family reunion & there will be great mountains, we will see the glory of God & its brilliance like that of a precious jewel, like jasper, clear as crystal. We will hear the heavenly angels proclaiming Holy, Holy, Holy over the throne of God.

All are welcome to join us in celebration of Raymond's life at his Memorial Service to be held on Thursday, July 21, 2016 at 7:00pm at Carolinas Cornerstone Church located at 1790 Gardendale Rd., Tega Cay, SC 29708.
