Rebecca Taylor

Rebecca (Palmer, Hughes) Taylor went to be with the Lord on Saturday May 16, 2015 in Rock Hill, South Carolina.

She was born in Clarksburg, WV on February 20, 1952 and was the fourth child of Vance Palmer and Lila Schindler.

She is survived by her two daughters, Amy Davis and Carrie (Steve) Horn, her grandchildren Hannah Davis, Spencer Davis, Andrew Davis, Lily Davis, Emily King, Afton Horn, Eleanora Horn and Charlotte Horn, her sister Carolyn (Alan) Layman, brothers Dan Emerson, Joseph (Linda) Palmer and Randall Palmer and many nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.

Rebecca was preceded in death by her loving husband John Taylor, her parents Vance Palmer and Lila (Bob) Schindler, former husband Allen Hughes and her grandparents Herbert and Corinda Butcher and Vance and Helen Palmer.

Rebecca resided in Clarksburg, WV, Lancaster, OH and Rock Hill, SC. She was employed by United Hospital Center In Clarksburg as a pharmacy tech and Fairfield Medical Center in Lancaster as a phlebotomist.
She enjoyed gardening, painting, decorating and spending time with friends and family and her dog Baby.

A memorial service will take place on Friday, May 22, 2015 at Centerbranch Assembly of God 2551 Buckhannon Pike, Mt. Clare WV. Calling hours are 5-6pm with a service at 6pm. Burial will take place at a later date with immediate family where she will be laid to rest in Huntington, WV with her late husband John.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to assist with the funeral expenses. All cards and flowers can be sent to Centerbranch Assembly of God.
