Rev. Mark Carlyle

Rev. Mark Carlyle age 70, entered into eternal life June 22, 2010 at Harris Hospice Unit in the Presbyterian Hospital in Charlotte, NC; Born in Newark, New Jersey a son of the late Rodney and Marion Keeney Carlyle. Mr. Carlyle worked for Comm-Scope as a Quality Control Engineer before he founded International Fiber Optic Technologies, and pastored and ministered several churches, and was a member of Fort Mill Church of God.

Survivors include his wife of 50 years; Glenda Carlyle of Fort Mill; two sons Mark A. Carlyle of Mt. Holly, NC; Thomas Scott Carlyle of Mosley, Va; daughter Lisa Renee Carlyle of Fort Mill; one sister Beverly Carlyle Welch of Dallas, NC; grandchildren, Amanda Allen, Chase Carlyle, Logan Carlyle, Jackson Carlyle and Julianna Carlyle.


Funral Service will be held Friday June 25, 2010 at 11 am at the Fort Mill Church of God with the Rev. David Kemp and Pastor Debbie Dyches officiating. The family of Mr. Carlyle will receive friends Thursday evening from 7-9 at Palmetto Funeral Home & Cremation Service 2049 Carolina Place Dr, Fort Mill, SC 29708.
