Rex Dean Turner

Rex Dean Turner, age 67, passed away Saturday, January 12th, 2019 at Atrium Healthcare in Charlotte, NC. He was born in Lumberton, NC. Rex was the son of the late Joseph Lewis Turner and Louise Chrisman Turner. His father was in the textile industry, and Rex followed in his footsteps after graduating from Appalachian State University. He was a sales representative for Mohawk Industry until his retirement in 2016. He was married to Mary McComb Turner for 44 years. They resided in Tega Cay, SC where they raised their two children.

Survivors include his loving wife Mary Turner, daughter Resa Thomas, son Joseph Turner, son-in-law Seth Thomas, and 2 grandchildren Adelyn and James Thomas. He is also survived by his brother, Chris Turner, and sister-in-law, Paula Turner.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 19, 2019 at 2 PM at the Steele Creek Presbyterian Church, 7407 Steele Creek Road, Charlotte, NC 28217.

A Reception will follow the service at the church

The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00 until 2:00 PM.
