FORT MILL - Rhonda R Costner, December 1, 1942 – December 2, 2018 went to be with her Lord and Savior while surrounded by her loving family.
The memorial service will be at 6:30 pm, Thursday December 6th, 2018 at Fort Mill Church of God with Pastor Mark Leonhardt officiating. Family and Friends gathering will be immediately after the service.
A native of Fort Mill / York County South Carolina, Rhonda was a daughter of Mr. Leroy and Pauline Ramsey. Rhonda was known by many people from her years in the banking industry, art events, bowling leagues and first and foremost as the wife of Pastor Bob Costner whom founded the Lighthouse Pentecostal Holiness Church in Fort Mill, SC. Rhonda served as The First Lady of the Lighthouse Church for over 20 years. Rhonda was a Godly woman who was a Christian mentor, minister of music and soloist which had a powerful voice when it came to singing praises to God at many church services, local events and funerals in York county and the surrounding areas. Rhonda was generous with her care and love with everyone that knew her. Her personality, sense of humor and loving heart was only a few of her great characteristics known by many.
Surviving are her sister Vicki Clark of Rock Hill, nieces Jennifer Baldwin of Rock Hill, Amy Walters of Fort Mill and Caroline Clark of Charlotte, Susan Baker of NC, Sheila Dixon of TN, two nephews Chuck Ramsey of TN, Michael Baker of NC and many great nieces and nephews. Step children Debbie Whisonant of Rock Hill, Linda Costner of Fort Mill, Mark Costner of Rock Hill, two step grandchildren Sherry Powers and Amy Whisonant of Rock Hill and two step great grandchildren Alex Strickland and Lexie Powers of Rock Hill.
The family will receive friends immediately after the memorial service on Thursday, December 6th, 2018 at Fort Mill Church Of God.
