ROCK HILL - Richard K. Bowers, 45, of 508 Grier Lesslie Road, died Friday, April 1, 2011, at Piedmont Medical Center.

The family will receive friends from 4-7 PM Tuesday, at the home James C. Brady and Linda W. Brady, 685 University Drive, Rock Hill.

A native of Rock Hill, he is the son of Richard K. Bowers and the Late Rosina Bowers. he was employed with the Munday Construction Co., a division of the Celanese Corporation. Richard was a loving father and husband. He always had a smile for everyone. He enjoyed working on his old truck with his friend Danny. He was a family man and will be missed dearly by all his family and friends. Especially by his sons Brandon and little Ricky.

In addition to his father, he is survived by his wife, Kimberly Farmer Bowers; sons, Richard K. Bowers III and Brandon Christopher Bowers; step brother, Bill Rich; sisters, Donna West and Susan Brown.
