Richard Henry "Pete" Duncan

Richard Henry "Pete" Duncan, 92, of Rock Hill, died Friday, June 6, 2014. He was born in York County May 26, 1922 the son of the late Emma Caveny and John Henry Duncan and was the Widower of Betty Strait Duncan. He is survived by a daughter, Vicky Littlejohn (Wayne) and a granddaughter, Tori Littlejohn. Pete was a lifelong member of Antioch United Methodist Church and was employed by Rock Hill Printing and Finishing as well as other textiles companies before turning to full time farming. Other survivors include sisters, Mary Lewis of Fort Mill and Olivia Stalcup of Rock Hill. He was preceded in death by his sisters Martha Craig, Marie (Mae) Hudspeth and brothers Tom Strait (Buddy) and Bobby. A graveside service will held Tuesday, June 10, 2014 at 10:00am in the Grandview Memorial Park. The family currently are receiving friends at the home of his daughter 3610 Strait Road, Rock Hill. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to Antioch UMC, 930 W Rambo Rd, Rock Hill, SC or to the Providence Care (Hospice), 1736 Old York Road, York, SC 29745
