Richard Lee Easter

Richard Lee Easter, 85, passed away peacefully on June 12, 2016 at Wellmore of Tega Cay. He was born June 18, 1930 to the late Rev. & Mrs. D.C. Easter. He served in the U.S. Army and was an industrial engineer his entire professional career. He was a golden glove recipient in 1949. He loved spending time with his family and warmed all hearts with his smile. Survivors include his devoted wife of 66 years, Doris Martin Easter. His son, C. Michael Easter and daughter, Tamara Easter Swan. Grandchildren, Zachary P. Easter, Dylan L. Easter, Saylor M. Swan & Sierra B. Swan. Sisters Betty Koehn and Mrs. Sam Beck. Several nieces and nephews. Celebration of his life will be held Saturday, June 25th, at Harrison United Methodist Church, 15008 Lancaster Hwy, Pineville, NC, 28134 at 12:00pm. Pastor Shane Page will be officiating. The family will be receiving friends after the service at a lunch reception held at the church.
