Richard R. Russell, Jr. (Ricky), 40, of Rock Hill, SC entered eternal rest with his Lord Jesus Christ on Friday, March 8, 2013. Born in Rock Hill, SC, Mr. Russell was the son of Susanne Russell and the late Richard R. Russell, Sr. He was a beloved son, father, brother, and friend to many. He was the owner of Perfect Angles Too Construction. Mr. Russell also attended York Technical College and Winthrop University. He was a member of Saint Anne Catholic Church. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his fiancé, Kim Geer of Edgemoor, SC; a son, Richard Roy Russell, III (Trey); a step-son, Quinton Riggs; 8 brothers and sisters, Sharon Russell Browne (Tony)of Mint Hill, NC, Anita Russell Geddings (Bill) of York, SC, Jeff Russell of Gaffney, SC, Liz Russell of Rock Hill, SC, Adam Russell of Charlotte, NC, Stephanie Lingerfelt (Josh) of York, SC, Johnathan Bumgardner (Angelina) of Fort Campbell, KY, and Jodi Russell Dover (Tim) of York, SC; 2 Uncles, George R. Clark, Jr. and James E. Clark; many nieces and nephews; and his beloved cat, Yit. A service to celebrate the life of Mr. Russell will be held 10am Tuesday, March 12, 2013 at St. Anne Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Grandview Memorial Park on Cherry Rd. A vigil will be held 6pm Monday, March 11, 2013 at Bass-Cauthen Funeral Home with a visitation following from 6:30-8:30pm. Memorials may be made to St. Anne Catholic School, 1694 Bird St. Rock Hill, SC 29730.
