Richard Henry Williams

Catawba: Mr. Richard Henry Williams, 61, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 20, 2014, at Wayne T. Patrick Hospice House in Rock Hill.

Funeral Mass will be 1:00 PM Tuesday September 23, 2014 at St. Anne Catholic Church,1694 Bird Street Rock Hill, SC 29730. Burial will be in Forest Hills Cemetery. The family will receive friends from Noon until 1:00 PM at the church.

Richard was born on April 23, 1953, in Racine, WI to the late James and Mary Ann Williams. He grew up in Rock Hill, SC and attended St. Anne Catholic School. He became a welder working for Woods and later working for Comers Distributing. He also worked for Barlett where he worked in the tool room.

Surviving are two brothers, David Williams and his wife, Jennifer, and Steven Williams and his wife, Maria; three sisters, Teresa W. Shugart and her husband, Jimmy, Susan W. Jackson and her husband, John, and Mary Lilly and her husband, Bert; a sister-in-law, Debra Williams; his step-mother, Junita Williams; and numerous nephew and nieces. He was known as the favorite Uncle. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Jimmy Williams.

In lieu of flowers the family request memorial donations are made to Hospice and Community Care, PO Box 993, Rock Hill, SC 29730.
