Ricky Keith Kimery

Ricky Keith Kimery, 65, of York, SC, passed away on January 26, 2024 after battling cancer, with his family by his side.

Ricky was born on December 3, 1958. He joined the Army at the age of 17. He proudly served his country for 14 years. After his service in the military, Ricky drove an 18 wheeler for 33 years, where he logged well over three million miles.

In 1978 , Ricky met his wife, Kim, in Seoul, Korea. They were married for 45 years. Ricky and Kim went on to have three children, Lisa, Christopher and Johnathon and eight grandchildren. Lisa and husband, Manh Nguyen, have five children, Ivon, Eli, Livvi, Asher and Liorah. Christopher and wife, Judy,  have three children, Aaron, Kyla and Killian. Johnathon and wife, Hannah, married just this past October. Ricky was very happy that he made it to see his youngest get married.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Thursday, February 1, at Bass Cauthen Funeral Home. A service will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, February 2, in the chapel of Bass Cauthen with a graveside service to follow at Grandview Memorial Park, Hollis Lakes.
