Ricky Lang

Catawba - Mr. Ricky Thomas Lang, Sr., 63, died Saturday, February 4, 2017.

Memorial services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, February 11, 2017, at Forward Church of God, 1599 Glasscock Road, Rock Hill, SC 29730, with Rev Gil Bailey officiating. The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the church. Please deliver flowers to the church on Saturday.

A native of Springfield, SC, Mr. Lang was a son of the late George Arnold Lang and Helen Virginia Story Lang. He was a member of Forward Church of God. He was a retired long distance truck driver. He was an avid sports fan and loved the Carolina Panthers.

Surviving are his partner and companion, Brenda Smith Munn; two sons, Tommy Lang and Tyler Lang, both of Gastonia, NC; three brothers, Randy Lang of Gastonia, NC, Robert Lang (Lana) of Charlotte, NC, and Ronnie Lang (Cindy) of Houston, TX; and his extended family, Rhonda and David McClain, Meghan and D.J. and his wife Jennifer and their children, Haven and Makayla; Ritchy and Betty Munn and their children, Trevor, Hannah, Ashley and Adam and his loving dog, Isabella. He was preceded in death by a sister, Roxanne Long and a sister-in-law, Brenda Lang.
