Rita Cioffi

Rita (nee Spano) Cioffi , 82, of Rock Hill, SC and formerly of CT and NY, passed away Thursday, December 28, 2017 at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill, SC. She was born June 9, 1935 in Bronx, NY, daughter of the late Frank and Maria Spadefino Spano.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Joseph Cioffi; two brothers, Louis Spano and Jack Spano; and sister, Antoinette Fucci.

She leaves to cherish her memory and friendship her daughter, Felice “Phyllis” Rieff of Rock Hill, SC; son, Joseph Cioffi and wife, Kay of West Harrison, NY; grandchildren, Samantha Cioffi and Alexandra Cioffi; brother, Dominick Spano and wife, Carol of FL; and several nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Mass will be held in NY at a later date.
