Robert Wayne Brooks

Mr. Robert Brooks, 78, went home to be with his Lord on Wednesday, January 31, 2018. He was a graduate of East Mecklenburg High School and attended Tennessee Temple Schools in Chattanooga, Tennessee and CPCC in Charlotte. He studied commercial art and was a talented artist, but, his first love was for his Lord and reading his Bible.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Lynda N. Brooks and numerous brother and sister-in-laws and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; Wayne S. Brooks and Georgia Lingle Brooks of Marshville, NC and 2 brothers; Pastor Don Brooks and Rodney Brooks of Charlotte, NC.

Visitation will be on Saturday, February 3, 2018 from 10:30 AM to 11:45 AM at Bible Baptist Church located at 255 Hwy 21 By-pass. The Funeral Service will follow at 12:00 PM with Pastor Jim Parrish officiating. Burial will immediately follow at Good Shepherd Church-Zoar Campus on Zoar Road.
