YORK - Robert Mason Childers, 80, of 7 South Pacific Ave. ,
died Sunday, July 11, 2010, at the Wayne T. Patrick Hospice
House.


Graveside services will be 11:00 Wednesday, at Rose Hill
Cemetery in York with Harold McMahan officiating.


A native of York, Mr. Childers is the son of the late William Mason Childers and Nellie Smart Childers. He was retired from Lakeview Memory Gardens and served in the U.S. Airforce. He loved flea markets, yard sales, and his family and friends.

He is survived by his daughter, Rebecca Messer of Lincolnton, N.C.; a son, Larry Childers; and two grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his brother, Leon Childers and sister, Helen Brackett.
