Robert Ellis Lesslie

Robert Ellis "Bob" Lesslie, 77, of 1098 Woodshire Ct. passed away December 4, 2008 at Piedmont Medical Center. Mr. Lesslie was born in York County, August 23, 1931 a son of the late Arnette and Martha Oates Lesslie. He was retired from Rock Hill Printing and Finishing, Springs Industries, was a longtime member of the Elks Lodge, past member of The Lions Club, served on the Board at Family Trust Credit Union, and was a member of Mt. Holly United Methodist Church. Surviving are his wife Darlene Thompson Lesslie; son Robert Ellis "Bob" Lesslie, Jr and wife Debi of Rock Hill.; daughter Judy Lesslie Funston and husband David of CA; grandchildren Robert Ellis "Trey" Lesslie, III of Rock Hill, Glennis Lesslie Sjodin of Rock Hill, David Bostick Funston, Jr. of CA, Quade Ellis Crabtree of Rock Hill; great grandchildren Emma Jayne Lesslie, Sara Grace Lesslie and Zachary Mason Lesslie all of Rock Hill. A service to celebrate the life of Mr. Lesslie will be held Sunday, December 7, 2008 at 3:00pm at Neely's Creek A.R.P. church with Reverend Jan Senneker and Reverend Jerry Devinney officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 3:00pm Sunday at the church and other times at the residence.
