Robert M. Duncan

Mr. Robert M. Duncan, passed away on Thursday, October 7, 2010 at the Wayne T. Patrick Hospice House. A native of York County, Bobby was the son of the late John H. and Emma Caveny Duncan. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two sisters Mrs. Martha D. Craig and Mrs. Marie D. Hudspeth; a brother Mr. Strait Duncan and an infant Ithama Duncan. Bobby was a member of Antioch United Methodist Church, a U.S. Army veteran and was retired from Rock Hill Telephone Company. Surviving are his wife Madge Thompson Duncan; his two sons Barry Duncan and his wife LuAnne,; grandchildren Alex Luse, Becca Smith, Dillion Luse; Scott Duncan and his wife Tammy; granddaughters Regan Elliott and BayLeigh Duncan; a great granddaughter Zoey Elliott; his sisters Mary D. Lewis and her husband Al of Ft. Mill, Olivia D. Stalcup and her husband Max of Rock Hill; his brothers Richard "Pete" Duncan and Thomas E. "Tommy" Duncan both of Rock Hill. At Bobby's request there will be no services he donated his body to science research in order to continue to help others.
