Robert Eugene Phillips

Catawba - Mr. Robert Eugene Phillips, 62, of 501 Preston Road, died Saturday, February 6, at his home.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, February 11, 2016, at Inspiration Baptist Church with Rev. Roland Dry officiating. The family will receive friends one hour before the services at the church. Burial will be in Neely's Creek ARP Cemetery.

A native of Rock Hill Mr. Phillips was a son of Robert Gene Phillips and Lois Carter Phillips. He was the widower of Barbara Wonders. He retired from the United States Army.

Surviving are a son, Christopher Phillips (Angel); two brothers, William Phillips and Larry Phillips; a sister, Deborah Ann Agers; and two grandchildren.
