Robert Eugene "Bob" Proctor

Robert Eugene "Bob" Proctor, 78, of Rock Hill, passed away Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at Piedmont Medical Center. He was born November 1, 1939 in Ethel, MS, son of the late Collins and Vernice Daughtery Proctor. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Gloria D. Johnson and step-son, Donald T. Sanders and. Bob proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. He retired from Belk Store Services as a Project Manager and Systems Analyst and was the former President of the Civitans. Bob was also a member of Northside Baptist Church. He was the loving and devoted husband of 30 years to Juanita "Kitten" Sanders Proctor; the father of Rodney Proctor of Rock Hill and David Proctor of Philadelphia; step-father to Kelly Sumwalt and husband, Dave of Rock Hill and Stephan Sanders of Phoenix, AZ; the proud grandfather of Anna Marie Rogers and husband, Ben of Charleston, Will Sumwalt of Charlotte, NC, Caroline Sumwalt and Claire Sumwalt, both of Rock Hill; and precious brother of Margie E. Fritts of AR. Funeral Services will be privately held. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Bob's memory to Lakewood Baptist Church, 3520 Mount Gallant Road, Rock Hill, SC 29732.
