Bob Turner (76), of Fort Mill, SC, loving husband of Paula, devoted father to Krista, Robbie and Aimee left to play golf in the open courses of Heaven on Sunday, September 30th. He was surrounded by his loving wife, children, grandchildren and sister. Along with his wife, he is survived by his children Krista, husband Wayne Helms and sons, Riley and Bailey, Robbie and his children Noah and Ragan, Aimee and husband Billy Stayduhar and children Lily, Ruby and Phoebe. He is also survived by his loving sister Kathy Satterfield and several nieces and nephews. Originally from Binghamton, NY he and his family moved to SC in 1979. Upon retiring from IBM after 25 years, he was employed by Wachovia/First Place which is now Wells Fargo. He was a mentor to many of his young colleagues whom he enjoyed working with very much. His passion was golf, traveling and watching his grandchildren at their sporting and school events. He made many friends while working and golfing at the Springfield golf course. Bob and Paula also loved to entertain at their home with friends and family where they welcomed everyone and anyone. A mass will be held on Thursday, October 4th at 11:30 a.m. at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church. Immediately following will be a gathering of friends for a luncheon at the church recreational center.
