Robin Olin Burfield has left this earthly plane and gone to rest on March 23, 2016 from complications of chronic polycystic kidney disease. He was born on February 12, 1968 in Sanford, Florida and lived in Fort Mill, SC. He was predeceased by his mother Geneva Pearson Burfield, father Rubel Odel Burfield, and brother Roy Dell Burfield. He is survived by his wife Allison Hughes Burfield and daughter Katherine Frances Burfield of Fort Mill SC, brother George Grady and sister-in-law Carol Burfield, niece Stacey Esposito and her son Brandon Linden, cousin Katie Burfield Dixon, mother-in-law Susan E. Cooper and father-in-law Jim Cooper. He was an Air Force Veteran and information technology graduate of the University of Phoenix. Formerly an IT manager for the Salvation Army in the Orlando, FL area, as well as a lecturer in computer science at Stetson University. He was a kind and caring person, who believed that his family was the top priority in his life. He also dearly loved the sweet pets that were part of his life and sought to support many organizations that promoted healing, caring, and helping others, human and animal alike.
