Robin Floyd Bussey

Rock Hill, SC-Robin Floyd Bussey, age 61, passed away on July 5th peacefully in her sleep at home after a battle with cancer.

Robin was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Joyce Floyd. She is survived by her sisters, Patsy Stack(Joey) of Edgefield, SC and Paula Myers (Darrell) of Rock Hill, SC.  She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews. Also surviving is her beloved cat, Mr. Blue, who was a devoted companion.

Robin was a graduate of the class of 1979 at Walterboro High School, Walterboro, SC. She graduated from The Baptist College in Charleston, South Carolina. She moved to Rock Hill in 2010 to be close to her family. She was a loving sister and aunt and enjoyed spending time with her family.

Robin was Business Office Manager at Chandler Place Independent Living. She loved her work and the residents she served.

Robin joined Epsilon Sigma Alpha International (ESA) Philanthropic Organization in March of 1994. She served as Chapter President, State President, Southeastern Regional Council President and International Council President for ESA. She had a heart for fundraising for St. Jude Children’s Hospital. She was loved dearly by her ESA family. ESA has fond and many funny memories of such a special person.

A Celebration of Her Life will be Saturday, July 16th at 2:00 PM at the Clubhouse at the Villages on India Hook, 105 Lone Oak Circle, Rock Hill, SC 29732.

In lieu of flowers Robin requested that donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501  St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
