Roenelda F. Worrell Roenelda F. Worrell, widow of Jospeh R. Worrell, of Clemson, SC, died on February 6, 2016 at the Wayne T. Patrick Hospice House in Rock Hill, SC. Mrs. Worrell had been living with her daughter and son in law in Rock Hill, SC, for the past three years. Mrs. Worrell was a Clemson native and the daughter of the late George McDaniel and Margaret Eloise Palmer Fendley. She is survived by her daughter, Lynne W. Hamilton (Don) and her grandson, Joseph F. Hamilton (Ashley) and a niece and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph R. Worrell, and by five brothers and 2 sisters. Mrs. Worrell had been employed as a physical science aide in the Cotton Testing Laboratory for the USDA in Sirrine Hall at Clemson College/University for over thirty years. She was a graduate of Calhoun-Clemson High School and Draughn's Business College. She had been a lifelong member of First Baptist Church in Clemson, SC. Graveside services will be 2pm Wednesday, February 10, 2016, at the Old Stone Church Cemetery in Clemson, SC with Dr. Rusty Brock officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Hospice and Community Care PO Box 993, Rock Hill SC 29731 or the charity of one's choice. The family would like to thank Sabrine Williams, caregiver, and the staff of the Wayne T. Patrick Hospice House for the love and compassion shown to Mrs. Worrell and her family during her struggle with vascular dementia and her final illness.
