Roger W. West, Sr.

Roger W. West, Sr., 70, of Sharon, passed away peacefully Friday, April 20, 2012 at his home. He was a wonderful father and friend, and worked in textiles for most of his life. He loved his first and only love of 52 years his wife Linda unconditionally, and also had a great love of drag racing. He was preceded in death by his parents John and Thelma West, Sr., and a granddaughter Haley Nicole West. He is survived by his wife Linda P. West; a son Roger West, Jr. (Lou Ann); beloved brothers-in-law Kenny Phillips (Melissa) and David Phillips (Karen); brothers John R. West, Jr. (Cora), Clyde "Joe" West (Evonne); sisters Phyllis W. Allen and Barbara Elkins; granddaughters and their families Jennifer W. Cooper (Adam) and Alicia C. Hoffecker (Frank); great-grandchildren Emma and Dillon Cooper and Calista Hoffecker; and many other loving family and friends. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 4:00-6:00pm at Linda and Roger's home.
