Roland T Harper Sr.

Roland T. Harper, Sr., 96, of Rock Hill, died Sunday, December 7, 2014. He was an US Army Air Force Veteran serving mostly in India as a company clerk during WWII. He was a member of Covenant Presbyterian Church where he sang in the choir and served as an Elder for over 50 years. He was preceded in death by his wife of 71 years, Emma. He is survived by: His son: Roland T. Harper, Jr and wife Lucille, of Rock Hill; His daughter: Becky Thrower and husband Bob, of Hendersonville, NC; 3 grandchildren: Ashley Hall and husband Todd, Lauren H. Miller and husband Kurt, all of Rock Hill, Scott Thrower and wife Erin, of Kissimmee, FL; 4 great-grandchildren: Carly and Addy Hall, Jackson Miller, and Goldie Thrower. A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at 1:00pm in the Covenant Presbyterian Church with the family receiving friends following the service. Memorial donations may be made to the Covenant Presbyterian Church.
