Rolf Scheufele

Rolf Scheufele, 82, of 1318 Gatehouse Ct., passed away Tuesday, September 28, 2010 at Piedmont Medical Center. A native of Urach, Germany, Mr. Scheufele was born December 7, 1927 a son of the late Herman and Alma Eisele Scheufele. He was a Mechanical Engineer, a U.S. Army Korea veteran and member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Erie, PA. Mr. Scheufele was preceded in death by four brothers Herman, Karl, Werner and Gunther Scheufele all of Riederich, Germany. Surviving are his wife Helga Scheufele; three daughters Susi Willis and Husband Ted of Erie, PA, Ingrid Koberstein and her husband Hans of Sindelfingen , Germany, Christa Eibl and her husband Carl of Rock Hill; a son Marty Scheufele and his wife Teresa of Atlanta, GA; a sister Doris Knodel and her husband Martin of Sindelfingen, Germany; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
