Ronald A Carter

Ronald Allen Carter, 73, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on January 26, 2020. He was born in Brooklyn, New York on June 26, 1946 to Thomas and Ethel Carter. Ron served in the United States Army as an E-5 Sgt. He was an extremely outgoing, friendly, one of a kind husband, father, and grandfather who had a deep love for his family. He was a jack of all trades, loved cars (which he owned many throughout his lifetime), and taking care of his lawn (which looked like a golf course). Ron was predeceased by his parents, Thomas and Ethel and brother, Carl. He is survived by his loving wife, Juliet Carter of 41 years; children, Renee (Inshan), Brett (Lainie), Victoria (Scottie), Matthew (Amber); grandchildren, Zachary, Jillian, Elijah, Cameron, Casey and Charles; sister, Elaine and numerous nieces and nephews. A celebration of his life will be held at Palmetto Funeral Home, 2049 Carolina Place Drive, Fort Mill, SC 29708 on Thursday, January 30, 2020 from 6-8pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
