Rose-Marie Walley

Mrs. Rose-Marie (Rie) Walley, age 69, passed away Thursday, April 7, 2016 at CMC Pineville. She was born in Milford, CT the daughter of the late Mr. John O"Donnell and Mrs. Shirley O"Donnell. She is also preceded in death by her brother Mr. William O"Donnell also of Fort Mill, SC.

Rie worked for 23 years at UNC Charlotte as the Executive Housekeeping Coordinator. After retiring she enjoyed traveling, her friends, but mostly spending time with her family.

She loved having picnics and friend and family get togethers. She enjoyed doing crafts, embroidery, and reading. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Rie will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her husband of 37 years Mr. Ronald Walley, her children, Julie Walley, Renee' Walley, John Snow, and Rae Murphy. She is also the Mimi (grandmother) to 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

The family will be receiving at Palmetto Funeral Home, Fort Mill, Sunday, April 10 from 6-8 pm.
Funeral Services are being held at Palmetto Funeral Home on Monday, April 11 at 12:00 pm with internment at Grandview Hollis Lakes Cemetery, Rock Hill.
