Roy Donald Hill

Mr. Roy Donald Hill age 87 passed away Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at his home in Sun City Carolina Lakes, Indian Land, SC. Born in Melrose Park, Illinois, son of late John and Blanche Hill and husband of Louise Allessi Hill. He was preceded in death by daughter Lisa Marie Hill. Mr. Hill was a retired lineman for Commonwealth Edison in Illinois. We were blessed with his gift of working with stained glass and the many people he touched with his artistry.

Survivors include his wife Louise Allessi Hill, sister Dorothy Connell, sons Randall Hill and wife Janice of St. Charles, Illinois; Michael Hill and wife Maryann of Sugar Grove, Illinois; daughers Linda Nelson of Geneva, Illinois; Sandra Ashton and husband Robert of Indian Land, SC.

Known as "Bump" to all his grandchildren Donovan (Angela Gale), Charles, Marcus (Jessica), Christopher (Angela), Scott, Paul, Jane (Edgar), Natalie (Roger), MaryRose, Michael and Anthony; great grandchildren Samantha, Rivers, Charlize, Steven, Madeline, Jack, Luka and William; great great grandchildren Violet and Richard.

Celebration of Life Mass will be held at 10 AM Saturday, May 9, 2015 at Our Lady of Grace Parish House, 7031 Waxhaw Highway, Lancaster, SC with Father John P. Giuliani officiating.
