Roy Franklin Hunter, Jr.

Rock Hill - Mr. Roy Franklin Hunter, Jr., 64, died Monday, February 08, 2016, at Piedmont Medical Center.

Memorial services will be 1 p.m. Friday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 902 Crawford Road, Rock Hill, SC with Father Augustin Guzman officiating. A gathering of friends and family will follow the service at the church.

A native of Rock Hill, Mr. Hunter was a son of the late Roy Franklin Hunter, Sr. and Florence Jeanette Howell Hunter. He was the owner and operator of "The Unusual Shop" on Camden Avenue in Rock Hill. He later worked and retired after many years from Bo Bo's Wrecker Service.

Surviving are his wife, Mary Eite Hunter; four step-sons, Tom Nichols, Brian Nichols, Jimi Stokes, and Tracy Brandon; a step-daughter, Stephanie Montgomery; a sister, Linda Scism; nieces, Connie Sands, Dana Allen, Kristi Byers, Kary Ison, and Lisa Scism; nephews, Tony Chiapetta, Steve Scism, Scott Wells, and Bryan Wells; 11 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren.
