Roy Allen Huse

Roy Allen Huse, 81 of Rock Hill, SC passed away Friday, April 5, 2013. Born in Sunset, TX, Mr. Huse was the son of the late Richard Lee and Allie Estelle Simmons Huse. He was a master mason at Boyd Lodge A.F.M. in Boyd, TX, a member of Texas Scottish Rite, and a recipient of the Masonic 50 year Service Award. Mr. Huse was also a Shriner at Oasis Shrine Temple in Charlotte, NC. He was a member of Oakland Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Jackie Beavers. He is survived by his wife, Donna Nichols-Huse, 2 sons, Roger Huse of Blythewood, SC and Greg Huse of Weatherford, TX, 2 daughters, Tishe Gallion of Houston, TX and Cheryl Tinsley of Arlington, TX, and 7 grandchildren. A service to celebrate the life of Mr. Huse will be held at 2pm Tuesday, April 9, 2013 at Oakland Baptist Church with the Dr. Robert Shrum officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hills Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8pm Monday, April 8, 2013 at Bass-Cauthen Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Oakland Baptist Church, 1067 Oakland Ave, Rock Hill, SC 29732.
