Roy "Danny" Daniel Morris

Mr. Roy "Daniel" Morris, age 43 passed away Tuesday, February 14, 2017 at CMC Steele Creek. Born in Concord, NC, son of Larry Morris and Vicki Scercy and husband to Felicia Morris. Mr. Morris was a Brick Mason and field manager for Mullis Masonry in Rock Hill, SC.

Raised in China Grove and Charlotte, NC, Danny was an energetic young man who loved playing every sport. He loved fishing and camping as well as traveling to new places with his forever love, Felicia. They loved spending time with their adopted fur baby, Hailey, a beautiful Labrador. Danny was a proud third generation brickmason who enjoyed creating beautiful things with his hands.

Survivors include his wife Felicia and beloved dog, Hailey; Father Larry Morris and Stepmom Mary Morris of Fort Mill, SC; Mother Vicki Scercy and Stepdad Alan Scercy of Salisbury; Grandparents Bobby and Carolyn Scercy of China Grove; Sister Leigh Anne Stiller of Salisbury; Brother Trey Morris and wife Sarah Morris of Fort Mill, SC; Nephews Logan and Hayden Stiller and Jackson Morris; As well as many aunts, uncles and cousins and his best friend Shawn "Bud" Yost of 34 years.

A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday afternoon, February 19th at 3 PM at the Palmetto Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Nate Simeon of LifePointe Christian Church officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.
