Ruby Eugenia Davis Allen

Ms. Ruby Eugenia Davis Allen, 74, of 515 Debruhl Rd. Chester SC (formally of Rock Hill, SC) woke up in glory to the waiting arms of her Savior, Jesus Christ Sunday Sept. 8, 2013. Ms. Allen was born in Greer, SC and was the daughter of the late Marchant L. Davis and Ruby E. Smith Davis. She was retired from York Technical College where she taught in the Math Department. Ms. Allen was preceded in death by her brother Dr. Gerald W. Davis. She is survived by her two sons John Reeves (Teresa) and James Reeves (Rhonda); two daughters Kathy Simpson (Angie) and Carol Orr (Mark); her grandchildren Matthew Reeves (Marie), Gloria Orr, Gene Orr, and Leeanna Reeves. Services for Ms. Allen will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, September 11, 2013 at Bass-Cauthen Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, September 10, 2013 at Bass-Cauthen Funeral Home. Memorials can be made to Hospice and Community Care, PO Box 993, Rock Hill, SC 29731.
