Ruby June Krall, 94, passed from this life to her next on Friday. October 9, 2020 in Rock Hill, SC.
"Miss Ruby" was born in Cleveland, Ohio on June 3, 1926. After retirement, she and her beloved husband/best friend, Chuck, moved to Boca Raton, FL where they spent 25 happy years, later moving to Rock Hill, SC in 2006 to be near their daughter for their final years.
Miss Ruby never met a stranger and was loved by all who knew her. We will all miss her great hugs! She loved her family first and foremost, but also loved to cook and bake, sew and cross stitch, do jigsaw puzzles at her kitchen table, read large print books, listen to music from the Big Band era (especially Frank Sinatra), and of course, loved biscuits and gravy at Bob Evans Restaurant every Sunday morning after church!
Ruby was predeceased by her husband, Charles Jack Krall, in 2011 and recently in May 2020 by her daughter Ellen (Giamei). She is survived by her son, Charles Lawrence Krall and wife Joyce and family, daughter Nora (Haidt) and husband Jeff, as well as her beloved grandchildren, Audra (Giamei), Angela (Crismon and husband Kyle), Tony Giamei Jr., Mia (Macy), Melissa (Macy and husband Josh Cowin), and lived to experience the joy of her first great grandchildren, Charlotte (Macy Cowin), and Hendrix (Crismon).
Special thanks to the wonderful nurses, aides, supporting staff, and social directors at Rock Hill Post Acute Care Center, while under hospice care. Despite family not being able to visit Miss Ruby due to restrictions of the coronavirus pandemic, we knew she was loved and taken care of lovingly in the facility until her last breath. God bless you all and keep safe.
A celebration of Miss Ruby's life will be held some time in the future when it is safe for all who loved her to gather together again. Until then, love one another and cherish your time together on this earth.
