Ruth E. Appello

Ruth E. Appello, 91, of Tega Cay, SC and formerly of NY, passed away Tuesday, February 25, 2020 at Morningside of Rock Hill. She was born Decembet 28, 1928 in Queens, NY, daughter of the late Anna Gibel. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Frank Appello.

She is survived by her nephew, Bill Whelan and wife, Barbara of Tega Cay, SC; niece, Carol Grogan Whelan of Bethpage, NY; and great-nieces and nephews, Brian Whelan, Ann Marie Peters, Cathleen McGuire, Robert Grogan, Christina Grogan, Michael Grogan and Kevin Grogan.

She will be laid to rest beside her husband, Frank at All Faith's Cemetery in Middle Village, NY.
