Ruth 'Ruthie' Marie Studebaker

Ruth Ruthie Marie Studebaker age 83 lost her battle to heart failure, but through Christ won eternal life. She passed away January 16, 2011 at her home in Tega Cay, SC. Hailing from Pueblo, Colorado she was the daughter of the late Robert and Ruth Rapalje, and sister of Virginia. Ruthie met her husband James at the University of Colorado, and lived much of her life in Evergreen Colorado, she was a loving wife of 63 years, homemaker extraordinaire, artist, mother and grandmother and a joyful blessing to everyone she knew. She was an active member of the Tega Cay Baptist Church, and Evergreen Fellowship.

Ruthie is survived by her husband Jim of Tega Cay; two son Mark Studebaker of Idaho Springs, Colorado and Bob Studebaker and granddaughter Shelby Studebaker both of Charleston, SC.

Memorial Service will be held 11 am Saturday Morning January 22, 2011 at Tega Cay Baptist Church with Rev. Brad Ferguson officiating. Ruthie ashes will be buried near Evergreen, Colorado along side her second son David who preceded her in death.
