Sabrina Cannon Pringle

Sabrina Cannon Pringle passed peacefully on Saturday, March 25, 2017 at the Hospice & Community Care House in Rock Hill, SC. after an extended illness. She was only 49 years old.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, April 1, 2017 at the Forest Hill Church, 2099 Carolina Place Drive, Fort Mill, SC. 29708. Visitation with family will be held at l0:00 AM in the church prior to the service.

A graduate of Hartsville High School, she attended the College of Charleston earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry and graduated with honors on Sunday, May 13, 1990.

She went on to work at Sequa Chemical in Chester, SC which merged into Omnova Chemical.

Then she earned her MBA from Winthrop University graduating with honors on Saturday, May 7, 2005.

She advanced at Omnova as Engineer and Analytical Chemist in the Non-Woven Fabrics Division, managing research and development of domestic and international sales.

Sabrina retired on March 21, 2008, dedicating herself to raising and grooming her son, Alex Taylor Pringle. Then, inspired by the limited variety of children's clothes, she started her own home business, Buds ‘n' Branches and soon enjoyed thriving Domestic and International sales supplying high value, customized, children's clothing which she actively worked until her illness overcame her.

Sabrina dearly loved her son, Alex and spent all her free time with him. She groomed him as a Bible Based Christian and they read and studied the Bible daily. Sunday church was a weekly enjoyment and Alex was taught the love of Christ. They studied school work with a dedicated discipline and Alex excelled into GT, Gifted / Talented classes at his school. She spent nights and weekends with Alex on fieldtrips, museums, long vacations and other ventures.

She had a close relationship with her brother, Brent and her mom, Janet. She shared a strong devotion to Christ, had mutual interest, and loved shopping and spending time together.

She is survived by her only son, Alex Taylor Pringle, loving mom, Janet Cannon Mewshaw, brother,
Brent M. Cannon, step dad, Charlie Mewshaw; stepbrother, Karl Mewshaw and two nieces; Sims and Jacklyn Cannon, Uncles Jack and Gerald Wood and their families and ex-husband, Philip P. Pringle. She has a plethora of very close friends who loved her dearly and visited her frequently. She has made an impact on their lives and will be lovingly missed. Her dad, William Alfred Cannon, grandparents; H. J. and Ophelia Wood; James Lucas and Laura Cannon preceded her in death.

Sabrina will be remembered as a loving and devoted mother, an accomplished business woman, and deeply rooted ties to family and friends.
