Rock Hill, SC – Mrs. Sandra Ratliff Murray, 73, traded her life on Earth for a permanent home in Heaven.

A native of Grundy, VA, Mrs. Murray was a daughter of the late James Thomas Ratliff and Irene Hill Ratliff.  She was a member of Church of Christ of Gold Hill Road and she founded a mission in Kenya called “Over the Rainbow – Kenya”.  She helped to demonstrate the love of Jesus to many people throughout her life.  She will be remembered as a lady who had a major impact on many peoples lives as she raised money to secure Bibles, provide food for people in need, and build church buildings where people could be touched by the love of Christ.  She and her husband, Barry helped to raise refugees from Southeast Asia in their own home.  She loved her family and will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and Aunt.

Surviving are her husband of 51 years, Barry Murray; six children, Randall Murray, Shelli Murray, James Murray, Jill Conklin (Mark), Pha Son, and  Keo Choun (Tiffany); two brothers, Tom Ratliff (Loretta) and Tim Ratliff (Sandy); three sisters, Suzanne Lester (Zeke), Sharon Hunt, and Cindy Tipton; eight grandchildren, Lynsey, Chan, Luke, Julia, Randall, James Barry, Laura Grace, and Landon.  She was preceded in death by a sister, Lisa Ratiff.
