Sara B Shillinglaw

Sara Wilson Blanks Shillinglaw, 86, of Rock Hill, died Wednesday, January 28, 2015. She was a member of Neelys Creek ARP Church where she was active in the Children's Sunday School program, nursery, afterschool, and the Lily Leslie Circle. Mrs. Shillinglaw was retired from York County Public Schools where she managed cafeterias, serving mostly at Sullivan Middle School. She was preceded in death by her husband William Massey Shillinglaw. She is survived by: Her son: Michael Shillinglaw and wife Cheryl; a sister: Martha Nunery; a brother: Olin Blanks, Jr & wife Dot; 2 granddaughters: Reilly and Sydney. The family would especially like to thank her caregivers Donna Smith and Patricia Schuler for their love and kindness during Sara's sickness. A funeral service will be held Sunday, February 1, 2015 at 2:00pm in the Neelys Creek ARP Church with interment to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00pm until service time on Sunday at the church or anytime at the families home 9336 Woodstock Drive, Rock Hill SC.
