Sarah Michelle Brown

Sarah Michelle Brown went to her heavenly home on June 9th, 2018. She was born, March 30th, 1986 in Charlotte, NC and grew up in Huntersville, NC. She was the daughter of Paula Cole Brown and the late Bruce Irving Brown.

Sarah was fun-loving, caring person who had a great smile. She had a tremendous sense of humor and made her family laugh at almost anything. She loved her family, especially her daughter Payton. Sarah left us too soon, but not unexpectedly, as she was one of the many in America battling substance abuse issues. The many years of struggle changed Sarah, but in the last few weeks she seemed to come to grips with her past and had the chance to make amends with people she loved and rediscover her faith in Jesus Christ. Sarah had given her life to Christ as a youth and admittedly strayed from her faith, but she never lost her salvation and for that her family is thankful. Sarah is home now and suffers no more. We look forward to seeing her again.

Sarah is survived by her mother, Paula Cole Brown, her daughter Payton Lowery, her sister and brother-in-law Shannon and Matt Weaver, nephews Wyatt, Derrick and Brandon. Grandfather, Frank Cole. Grandmother, Nancy Brown. Also aunts, uncles and numerous cousins.

A memorial service for Sarah will be held on Wednesday June 13th at 2:30 pm at First Baptist Church of Charlotte in the Fellowship Hall with Tom Bowers and Michael Cummings officiating. The family would like to thank Palmetto Funeral Home of Fort Mill, SC for their caring service.
