Sarah Osborne

Rock Hill, SC - Sarah Catherine Hucks Osborne passed away peacefully Thursday, February 20, 2025, at Chandler Place, Rock Hill, SC surrounded by her loving family. 

She was born May 27, 1925, in Fort Mill, SC, and was a daughter of late Joe Wade Hucks and Eva Mae Preslar.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Sam Osborne of Rock Hill; her eight sisters, Beatrice Whisonant, Evelyn Bennet, Nell Lee, Josephine Cater, Ruby Wolfe, Mary Lee Dickson, Jean Morton, and Betty Stegall; and three brothers, Jim Hucks, Bill Hucks, and Ray Hucks.

She is survived by her two sons, Sam F. Osborne (Dakie) of Suwanee GA, and Joseph W. Osborne (Sheryl) of Rock Hill, SC, five grandchildren, Michelle O. Smith (David) of Ponta Vedra Fl, Mary Catherine Osborne of Rock Hill SC, Caroline O. Cundiff (Andy) of St. Augustine Fl, Whitt Tindol (Nikki) and Michelle Tindol of Suwanee GA, four great grandchildren, Emma Raley Cundiff, Greysen Smith, Drew Tindol, Peyton Tindol; two sisters, Peggy Davidson and Shirley Smith and a brother, Paul Hucks (Judy).

The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks and appreciation to the staff of Chandler Place Assisted Living and Providence Hospice.
