Sarah Jane Weidmann

Sarah Jane Weidmann “Sally”, 88 of Indian Land, SC and formerly of Oakland, NJ, peacefully went to be with her LORD and Savior Wednesday, December 18th, 2024 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was in hospice care for the last three weeks of her life. She was born on June 8th, 1936 in East Orange, NJ, daughter of the late Harry Meeker and Martha (Schobert) Meeker. 

Sarah was a friendly person who loved her family, friends and all of her cats. She had a love for playing board games, gardening and crossword puzzles and attended Fardale Trinity Church. She lived in many different states in her long life including – California / Colorado / Florida / Louisiana / New Jersey and finally South Carolina. 

 Sarah is preceded in death by her father Harry Meeker; mother Martha (Schobert) Meeker and her husband of over 50 years Fred Weidmann.

She is survived by her son Richard Weidmann and his wife Anna; son Michael Weidmann; Grandchildren Christian, Kaden and Carson Weidmann; Sibling Robert Meeker, his wife Karen and their three children Karen, Tracy and John. 

The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to all the hospice nurses, Senior Helpers, Doctor’s and their staffs, church family, and all her wonderful friends at the Greenway Square (where she lived for two years before her health declined). 

We love and miss you terribly Mom.
