It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Sarah "Polly" Louise Rockholt, who departed this world peacefully on December 11, 2024, at the age of 80. Born on August 2, 1944, in Rock Hill, SC, she was a cherished resident of Fort Mill, SC, for many years.
Polly was the beloved daughter of the late Lamont and Elizabeth Epps. She was predeceased by her devoted husband, William David Rockholt, and her brothers, Donnie and Dave Epps. She leaves behind a rich legacy of love and family, survived by her daughter, Angie Cook; her sisters, Ann Kimbrell and Jean Carlisle; her brother, Bob Epps; and her granddaughter, Taylor Cook, all of whom she adored dearly.
A woman of faith, Polly was a long-time member of Community Presbyterian Church, where she spent many years volunteering and enriching the lives of those around her. Her kindness, generosity, and a warm smile touched everyone she met.
Friends and family are invited to celebrate Polly's life during her Visitation at Community Presbyterian Church in Fort Mill, SC, on Friday, December 13, 2024, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm. A funeral service will follow at the church from 1:00 pm to 1:45 pm, with interment immediately following at Flint Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.
Arrangements are being managed by Palmetto Funeral Home. Sarah "Polly" Louise Rockholt will be remembered for her unwavering love, dedication to her family, and commitment to her community. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made in Polly's honor to Community Presbyterian Church, 600 N White St, Fort Mill, SC.
